Our Youth

The Highland Youth and Family Ministry is about developing disciples who are united by their belief in Christ and by their love for God and others. Thereby we become “the light of the world…so that they may see [our] good works and give glory to [our] Father who is in heaven” and “so that the world may also believe” that Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 5:14, 16; John 17:21; Matthew 16:16)

We Are Providing an Environment for Our Youth to Grow & Excel

Developing Disciples
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. – Matthew 7:24-25
United by Christ
…with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace…speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. – Ephesians 4:2-3, 15-16
Light of the World

I do not ask for these only but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. – John 17:20-21

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 5:14-16

L2L

Since our foundation in 1968, the mission of L2L has been to develop youth into Christian leaders. From a group of eight boys in that first year to more than 20,000 today, our mission has remained the same.
